We are pleased to announce that we are now in a position to resume some of our services.  This is based on the current Government guidance and also recent information received from leading industry organisations about how this guidance should be applied to dog training sessions.  The current Covid-19 guidance means that:

Dog training sessions should take place outdoors on private and secure land that has adequate car parking which enables social distancing to be maintained at all times.  The area used should be large enough for up to 6 people (including the trainer and assistant) to work with their dogs with 2m distance being maintained at all times from other owners and their dogs.  Numbers of households in a gathering should be minimised wherever possible.

With this in mind, we are satisfied that we can resume in person puppy and dog training safely and in accordance with Government guidelines for families living in the same household..

From 8 June we will be using the secure, outdoor garden area at The Winlaton Centre for in person training.  These session will take place with one dog or puppy and up to five members of a family living together.  These will be known as Family Sessions and are suitable for 1 to 5 people.

We have also developed a range of Stay at Home services, and after a successfully piloting them during lockdown and receiving great feedback, we are making these available to all.

These virtual services available will include Happy Puppy sessions, 121 training sessions, scentwork, enrichment for calmer and happier dogs and "Preparing pups and dogs for the new normal".  Separation Anxiety cases can also be offered virtually by arrangement.

All In Person Sessions and Stay at Home Services are with Karen who is a qualified trainer and behaviour adviser.

From the 5 July we are also running Happy Puppy Foundation Groups for four pups and one handler per pup.

Having reviewed this guidance, risk assessed and explored viability of resuming group activities, we are not satisfied that we could ensure the guidance is strictly adhered to at all times, by all participants, and this means that we will not be resuming our other group activities at this time.

This is subject to change and ongoing review.

For those with a credit note you can redeem this against any of these services, please contact us about this.

In person Family Sessions can be booked online and Karen will contact you to book an appointment.  Happy Puppy Foundations can also be booked online.

All Stay at Home and In Person services can be booked and paid for online using our new book and pay system.
